Collapsible Havahart traps are constructed of sturdy rust-resistant
wire mesh with steel reinforcements for long life and galvanized
for maximum resistance to rust and corrosion. Mesh openings of
these animal traps are smaller than competing traps of comparable

Havahart Recommends the Following
Use a small plate to place the bait at the end of the live trap.
Suggested rabbit baits
Spray the inside of the trap with apple cider
Suggested squirrel baits
Nuts (especially peanuts)
Anise oil (a drop or two on bread)
Mixed peanut butter and oatmeal or peanut butter and molasses
One trapper swears by almond extract on bread as bait
Suggested skunk baits
Fish, canned (sardines)
Fresh-insect larvae such as may beetles
Bread crust coated with peanut butter
