    Complete wood pellet production line is designed for industrial production to make biomass pellets from any type of agro and forestry wastes with output from 1 ton to 10 ton per hour. The finished wood pellets are widely used for heating purposes of industrial boilers and large power plants as well as home use to alleviate the energy crisis and meet eco-friendly requirements.

    Wood Pellets Processing Technics
    A complete wood pellet production line for making wood pellets including:
    Raw materials preparation, wood crushing (For logs and other biomass materials more than 5mm in dia.), sawdust drying (if the raw material contains moisture of more than 18%), wood pellets pelletizing, wood pellet cooling, biomass pellets packing.

    Process of Complete Wood Pellet Production Line

    1.Raw materials Preparation
    Wood pellets can be made from sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips or wood logs, any forestry wastes or biomass straws, stalks, Palm fiber, efb, rice husk, bagasse etc.

    2.Raw Material Crushing Process

    Crushing machine is used for crushing the larger materials into smaller powder for supporting produce wood pellets. Here we introduce two major machines for you: wood sawdsut machine and wood hammer mill. Wood sawdust is ideal equipment for crushing raw materials like square logs with diameter less than 200mm; if the material has a diameter less than 20mm, then wood hammer mill is the best choice. The best thickness of the wood chip is less 5mm. After milled, the output size can reach diameter 3-5 mm,which is convenient for further processing to get dried and pelletized.

    3.Biomass Material Drying Process

    The best moisture content to pelletizing is about 10-20%. So before pelletizing, a drying machine is needed to make the moisture content reaches the required standards. You should choose the most suitable drying machine from rotary dryer and pipe dryer according to the wood powder moisture and handling capacity.

    4.Wood Pelletizing Process
    Pellet mill is the significant part of the wood pellet production line, and has reliable and stable performance. It is specially designed for compacting of wood, straw, and other biomass sources into pellets. Capacity ranges from 1T to 10T per hour. You can choose ring die pellet mill or flat die pellet mill depend on your capacity requirements. Our XGJ series Ring die pellet mill is best choice for large scale production, while SKJ series flat die pellet mill is suitable for small pellet production line.     5.Wood Pellet Cooling Process
    After pelletizing process, the temperature of wood pellets is between 60-80 degrees and the moisture content is close to 15%. So a cooler must be used to reduce their surface temperature and the moisture content which makes the wood pellets easy to store, meanwhile helps screen good and pure pellets.
    6.Wood Pellet Packing Process
