The desiccant is impregnated into a corrugated ceramic composite material formed into a rotating wheel. The wheel rotates slowly (6-10 rph) between two air streams. The process air stream gives off moisture to the desiccant, while the heated reactivation air stream removes moisture from the desiccant, creating a continuous dehumidification cycle.
