Tungsten Carbide Nozzle Features
Tungsten carbide nozzles are used on coil winding machines. They are precisely manufactured from super hard alloy with hardness exceeding HRA90 degrees and anti-bending strength over 2300N/mm. Both terminals and inner/outlet surfaces receive mirror surface treatment to prevent enameled wire scraping. Features include high hardness, resistance to flexure, blocking, and impact.
Key Advantages
- High Wear Resistance: Hardness value: 1800-2200 Vickers (3 times that of case-hardened steel). Body material is stainless steel for structural support.
- Scratch-Proofing: Eliminates wire insulation film damage with low friction resistance and stable wire tension. Wire-guiding surfaces are mirror-finished by diamond lapping to surface roughness of 2-4 micro inches Ra or better.
- Straightness and Stiffness: Wire exit concentric to locating within 0.02mm with or without load. Concentricity within 0.01mm.
- Precise Exit Radii: Exit radii governed to +/- 0.025mm for controlled wire exit angles between coils.
