Product Discription:
Duplex stainless steel 2101 (UNS S32101) offers high strength and corrosion resistance, comparable to certification grades such as 316L. Due to their low nickel and molybdenum content, excellent mechanical properties and good corrosion resistance, they can be used in a variety of applications, providing durability and long-term cost effectiveness.
Characteristics:

- Chloride pitting and crevice corrosion resistance comparable to 316L stainless

Corrosion Resistance: The corrosion resistance of S32101 is generally good, and therefore is suitable for use in a wide range of general-purpose applications and environments. Attributable to its duplex structure, S32101 offers an excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking. It also offers corrosion resistance comparable to 304L and 316L stainless steel, making it an excellent candidate to replace 300 series stainless in a wide variety of applications.
