System Overview
The wood drying kiln consists of two main components: the combustion system and the drying chamber. The hot-air drying system utilizes heat energy from combustion to warm the air within the kiln. A main blower at the top of the hot air furnace draws air from the kiln into the furnace body for heating, then circulates it back through the chamber.
The circulation fans inside the kiln ensure uniform heat distribution across all wood materials. For processes requiring steam, a steam generator integrated into the hot blast furnace provides the necessary humidity control. Multi-room configurations include plug valves for precise temperature regulation in each chamber.
During the drying cycle, moisture removal is managed through strategically placed ventilation holes in the kiln roof, complemented by a dehumidification system that adjusts drying speed according to wood requirements.
