Lithium Tantalate (LiTaO3) crystals offer exceptional electro-optical and acousto-optical properties, making them ideal for surface acoustic wave devices, bulk acoustic wave devices, piezoelectric transducers, and sensors. The 36° and 42° crystal cuts are particularly optimized for telecommunications applications in mobile phone handsets operating at frequencies from 800 to 2100 MHz.
