Product Overview
This three-axis 45° stacked planar rosette strain gauge measures deformation in three directions (0°, 45°, and 90°) with dimensions of 21×18mm. Featuring a water-resistant structure with special resin coating, it maintains performance in outdoor and underwater environments with minimal insulation degradation after approximately 100 hours of water exposure.
Installation Guidelines
For precision stress testing results, follow these installation procedures:
- Paste at temperatures below 25°C and humidity below 60% RH
- Prepare surface with 300# sandpaper in cross-direction and clean with organic solvents
- Apply adhesive evenly in one direction to prevent front-side flow
- Position gauge, cover with F4 film, apply thumb pressure for 1 minute
- Allow 2-hour curing period before testing
- Secure leads properly to prevent stress on solder joints
