Galfan Coated Gabion Baskets for Extreme Environments
Galfan gabion cages feature a superior coating composition of 5% aluminum and 95% zinc, providing approximately three times greater corrosion protection compared to standard galvanized gabion cages. The aluminum component forms a protective oxidation film that resists corrosion, rust, acid, and alkali erosion, while the zinc coating provides additional protection if the outer layer is compromised.
