The waterproof performance and ageing resistance of double-sided products is better than single-sided products.However, double-sided fabric is more expensive than single-sided fabric.
  On the other hand, we can distinguish between two types of silicone-coated fibreglass fabric by their weight: heavy-duty and light-duty. The heavy-duty fabric has better heat insulation and heat resistance than the light-duty fabric, but the light-duty fabric is cheaper.
