The long plunger sand control pump ,due to its traveling valve cage always exposed to the pump barrel, so the oil flow section is not limited by pump barrel diameter, so the oil resistance smaller than conventional pump. Plunger downward drag is small, high pump efficiency, so it is suitable for heavy oil.
The long plunger sand control pump have independent grit channel, avoids the heavy sand out again.
