API 11AX standard pump is mainly an assembled barrel, plunger, travelling valve and standing valve (divided fishable and non-fishable), the structure is simple but strong and durable. The standing valve of the pump is connected to the bottom of the tubing string. During work time, the sucker rod and plunger will take the reciprocating movement in the barrel and pump oil to the ground. This kind of pump is usually classified as high volume pump, because in the same size tubing, tubing pump has a larger diameter plunger, the fluid load will be greater than the rod pump, so the oil production is also large. Thus, tubing pump is usually used in shallow depth and high production well.
