Oilfield Cementing Casing Float Collar and Float Shoe
Professional API standard cementing tools designed for reliable performance in oil and gas well operations. Available in sizes from 4-1/2" to 13-3/8" with various valve configurations.
Product Overview
Our cement float collar and shoe deliver dependable performance for all classes of oil and gas wells. The plunger-type valves prevent cement backflow, provide casing buoyancy during run-in, and serve as internal BOPs during casing running and cementing operations.
Float Collar Features
Installed near the bottom of the casing string, the float collar provides a landing surface for cement plugs during primary cementing operations. Its check valve allows downward fluid flow while preventing upward flow, reducing mud entry during casing descent and decreasing load on the derrick or mast.
Float Shoe Features
The float shoe maintains constant fluid height inside the casing while preventing backflow. It functions similarly to the float collar while also serving as a guide shoe for casing placement.
