550*2700 mm Electric Arc Furnace Graphite Electrode

Introduction

SHIDA CARBON originally was founded in 1990 in Shanxi Province. Later SHIDA procured a bankrupted state-owned graphite electrode factory and then rooted in Sichuan province.

In 2009 SHIDA build a new factory in Meigan industrial park in Meishan city, covering an area of 20 hectares. It is designed and constructed with highest standard in GE industry. It has 212 employees only– Less human interference, high automated control. Meisha factory covers the process from raw material treatment to baking:

a. Crushing System: High precision of breaking raw material into different grain sizes.

b. Screening System: USA made Rotex screener, high precision of distribution for all grain sizes, screening purity≥80%; below medium grain size, purity≥85%.

c. Milling System: Japan made Kurimoto miller, high effectiveness and purity.Grain size control below 75μm,Purity deviation ±3%.

d. Burdening System: high precision of burdening, electronic weighing with tolerance≤0.5%.

e. Kneading System: Japan made Kurimoto high-power hot kneading system, guarantee high uniformity of paste. Make inner structure as powder not balls, less spaces after extrusion, ensure high density of green electrodes.Max capacity for electrode paste are 4000ton/month.

f. Extruding System: High vacuum extruding system (one set 3500mt power and one set 2500mt power), PLC program controlled, excellent for production Φ400-700mm electrodes.

g. Baking System: 1^st baking use advanced car bottom furnace with our own innovated tail gas incineration and 3MW waste heat generation system,make sure environment friendly and generate electricity for self use . Automatic controlled and coordinated by temperature detector and fans inside, temperature well distributed, difference within 30℃, ensure high homogeneity of baked electrodes. Automatic loading and discharging, Low power consumption(840 ℃/ 400-650 hours).. 2^nd baking use tunnel furnace(800 ℃/ 100-120 hours). Max capacity for baked electrodes are 3000ton/month.

Impregnation System: Fully automatic, high vacuum and pressure, hot in- cool out.Max impregnation pressure is 2.5Mpa. Impregnation time is 5 hours with stable setting pressure.
