Collagen Sausage Casings are made from edible collagen material, specifically designed for various sausage applications including fried sausages, smoked sausages, brats, and wind dry sausages.

1. Open Bag: Remove casings from packaging. DO NOT SOAK CASINGS IN WATER as this will cause them to fall apart.
2. Stuffing: Slide casing on stuffing horn. Collagen casings require a straight stuffing horn with the correct outside diameter to avoid breakage.
3. Filling: Apply only a small amount of resistance while stuffing. If making links, slightly under-stuff casing to allow for twisting.
4. Usage: Suitable for fresh sausages and smoked sausage production. Casings are edible and do not need peeling prior to consumption.
5. Storage: For best results, store unused casings in refrigerator in the resealable bag.
