W80Cu20 Copper Tungsten Alloy Electrode For Welding High Thermal Conductivity
W80Cu20 Copper Tungsten Electrode For Welding High Thermal Conductivity
Copper Tungsten Electrode is an alloy consisting of tungsten and copper. The copper content of common alloys is 10%~50%. The alloy is made of powder metallurgy and has good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, high temperature strength and certain plasticity. At very high temperatures, such as above 3000 ° C, the copper in the alloy is liquefied and evaporated, absorbing a large amount of heat and lowering the surface temperature of the material. Therefore, this material is also known as metal sweat material.

Copper Tungsten Electrode Picture:
Aantages of Copper Tungsten Electrode
-
Electric spark electrode: when the mold made of tungsten steel and high temperature resistant superhard alloy needs electric corrosion, the common electrode has large loss and slow speed. However, the high electric corrosion rate, low loss rate, accurate electrode shape and excellent machining performance of tungsten copper can ensure the accuracy of the machined parts to be greatly improved.
-
High voltage discharge tube electrode: when the high-voltage vacuum discharge tube is working, the temperature of the contact material will rise to thousands of degrees Celsius within a few tenths of a second. However, the high ablation resistance, high toughness, good conductivity and thermal conductivity of tungsten copper provide the necessary conditions for the stable operation of the discharge tube.
Applications of Copper Tungsten Electrode
- Tungstent-copper alloy is widely used in the manufacture of high voltage electrical switch contacts, rocket nozzle throat linings, tail rudder and other high temperature components, as well as electrodes for electrical processing, high temperature mold and other occasions requiring high electrical and thermal conductivity and high temperature use.
