Our KBB type bolt-type bow shackles are engineered for maximum security in demanding rigging applications. These Grade 80 standard bow shackles feature a safety bolt system with nut and cotter pin for double safety protection.
Bolt type bow shackles provide superior security for rigging operations where rotation or torque may occur. The larger "O" shaped bow design allows for side loading and multiple sling-leg connections, making them versatile for various lifting configurations.
- Quenched and tempered construction with high-quality carbon steel bows and alloy steel pins
- Hot dip galvanized shackle bows with yellow painted pins (customizable upon request)
- Double safety system prevents accidental unscrewing during operation
- Ideal for semi-permanent installations and applications with potential pin rotation
- Complies with ASME B30.26-2004 and RR-C-271D standards
- Proof Load: 2 times Working Load Limit
- Minimum Breaking Load: 5.4 times Working Load Limit for 30-175 ton models
