- Oxidizes carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC)
- Oxidizes soluble organic matter (SOF) in particulate matter (PM)
- Partially oxidizes carbon particles (SOOT) in particulate matter
- Coating oxidizes particulate matter on POC surface
- Oxidizes NO to NO2 as front stage of SCR catalyst, enhancing NOx conversion efficiency
