Falling Film Evaporator Design
This evaporator utilizes either tubes or pillow plates as heat transfer surfaces, with liquor processed on the outside of heat transfer surfaces in plate designs. The system features continuous recirculation from a liquor sump to distribution devices that establish thin films for efficient evaporation.
