The 1000KVA multi-voltage transformer is engineered to operate across multiple grid voltages while maintaining a stable 480V secondary output. This versatile cast coil dry-type transformer features off-circuit tap changers that enable operation at various primary voltages including 4160V, 7200V, 12470V, 13200V, 13800V, and 14400V.
Manufacturing Process
- Iron Core: High-quality silicon steel sheet with anti-corrosion coating for low loss and enhanced heat dissipation
- High Voltage Winding: Continuous drop-down disc design with strip conductor and double-layer insulation, vacuum-cast with epoxy resin
- Low Voltage Winding: Aluminum or copper foil construction with pre-impregnated epoxy resin insulation, oven-cured for compact structure
- Encapsulation: Vacuum casting process under rigorous conditions to ensure optimal insulation and mechanical strength
- Final Curing: Resin poured into molds within vacuum chamber to form high-strength FRP body structure
