Meta Aramid Fabric Technical Overview
Meta aramid fabric is a premium flame retardant material manufactured using interaromatic polyamide (aramid 1313 fiber). This permanent flame retardant fiber offers exceptional heat resistance, high strength, excellent wear resistance, and superior flexibility with minimal shrinkage.
Thermal Performance: Maintains structural integrity at temperatures up to 250°C with only 1% thermal shrinkage. Fiber softening occurs at 373°C, with decomposition beginning above 400°C. Provides insulation protection up to 900-1300°C without cracking.
