Our polyester jacket with UHMWPE core rope is a line with a UHMWPE core and a 16-member braided polyester sheath. UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) is a very strong plastic fibre with very low elongation, high abrasion and friction resistance. Extreme strength line combined with low own weight and low extensibility makes it an extremely suitable material for use in water sports and marine applications as trim and halyard lines but also suitable for various industrial applications.
