MRING 127mm Concentric Casing Drilling System for Loose Soil - 3-4 Inch OD with DHD340 Hammer Compatibility
MRING overburden drilling systems feature a unique design where the ring bit is not connected to the casing shoe. This allows the special profile DTH bit to pass through the large inner diameter of the ring bit for efficient drilling in loose soil conditions.

ODEX is an adaptation of the air-operated down-the-hole hammer. It uses a swing-out eccentric bit to ream the bottom of the casing. Cuttings blow up through the drive sub and casing annulus to a swivel conducting them to a sample collector or onto the ground, enabling rapid removal of cuttings.
The most common use for the large volumes of overburden produced by a surface mine is to remediate and reclaim the area where it was first removed. Putting the sand, rock, and clay back helps rebuild the soil level so that plant life can return.
The Casing Advancer has been designed to allow drilling and casing to be carried out simultaneously as one integral operation. This eliminates the need to drill the large diameter hole with a Rock Bit, pull the drill rod string and Rock Bit from the hole, and then ream the casing back into the hole.
