This tri-band repeater amplifier provides an affordable solution for indoor signal coverage problems caused by architectural obstacles and signal attenuation. The system operates on 850/1900/AWS1700/2100MHz frequencies to enhance mobile signal strength in weak or blind coverage areas.
The repeater functions as a relay between the base station (BTS) and mobile devices. It captures the strongest signal from the BTS via the donor antenna, linearly amplifies the signal, and retransmits it through the indoor signal distribution system to areas with poor coverage. The mobile signal is similarly amplified and transmitted back to the BTS in the opposite direction.
