The pellet mill features a feeder with observation window, forced feeder for consistent material distribution, pelleting chamber with two rollers and ring die, safety protection devices, ring die lifting mechanism for easy maintenance, and high-quality ring dies manufactured using imported processing equipment and professional heat treatment.
Material enters the granulation bin via feeding auger, moves through the forced feeder into the pressing chamber, and is distributed by feeding scrapers to two pressing areas. High-speed ring die rotation compacts material between die and pressure rollers, forming continuous columnar pellets that are cut to required lengths.
Compression ratio (L/D where L is effective die hole length and D is diameter) determines pellet density. Higher ratios produce denser pellets, but optimal ratio depends on raw material hardness - harder materials require smaller compression ratios.
Critical components include abrasion-resistant ring dies customized for specific formulations, alloy steel roller shells, five-piece covers, O-rings, main shafts, and other precision components designed for extended service life.
