310 SS Pipe Description
310 material is a high chromium nickel alloy,known for its excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.Developed for use in high temperature corrosion resistant applications, the high chromium and nickel content of stainless 310 provide solid corrosion resistance, excellent resistance to oxidation, and superior strength in temperatures up to 2100°F.
310S,the low carbon version of the alloy 310 material,a general-purpose heat-resistant stainless steel,is utilized for ease of fabrication.Compared to 310 stainless steel, 310S stainless steel has a lower carbon content,which reduces the tendency for carbide precipitation during welding,thereby improving its welding properties and plasticity.
