2205 Duplex Plate Description
2205 duplex stainless steel is a composite material composed of austenite and ferrite structure, including 22% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy.Its unique dual structure offer high strength, good impact toughness and excellent overall and local corrosion resistance,is the most widely used grade in the duplex family of stainless steels.
Duplex 2205 is a nitrogen enhanced duplex stainless steel that was developed to combat common corrosion problems encountered with the 300 series stainless steels.also demonstrates excellent pitting and crevice corrosion resistance,higher yield strength and thermal conductivity. SS Duplex 2205 Plate performs well in applications in temperature ranges between -50℉ and as high as 600 ℉ in the system.
Our stainless steel sheet plate is available in a variety of grades, including 201, 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316L, 309S, 310S, 904L, and more. We can also provide stainless steel sheet in various specification,size and surface finish,we support customization service as your requirement.
