2) Feature of Spiral Bevel Gear

• Higher transmission efficiency: Compared with straight bevel gears, spiral bevel gears have less tooth surface sliding, and the transmission efficiency can reach 95% - 98%.

3) Working Principle of Spiral Bevel Gear

When the active spiral bevel gear rotates, it meshes with the driven spiral bevel gear by means of the helical curve of the gear teeth,

transmits the rotary motion and torque from the active shaft to the driven shaft, and at the same time realises a change in the direction of motion, e.g., in an automobile differential, which distributes the power of the engine to the right and left wheels.

Widely used in the drive axle of automobiles, the transmission system of engineering machinery, the accessory drive of aviation engines, etc.,
