Description:

 

Insulators are a special insulation control that can play an important role in overhead transmission lines. In the early years, insulators were mostly used for telegraph poles, and slowly developed a lot of disk-shaped insulators hung on one end of the high-voltage wire connection tower. It is used to increase the creepage distance. It is usually made of glass or ceramic and is called an insulator. Insulators should not fail due to various electromechanical stresses caused by changes in the environment and electrical load conditions, otherwise the insulators will not have a significant effect, which will damage the use and operating life of the entire line.

Pin insulator is a component used to support or suspend a wire and form an electrical insulation between the tower and the wire. The ceramic parts of the pin-type ordinary ceramic insulator and the cast steel are glued together with cement glue, and the surface of the porcelain part is coated with a layer of glaze to improve the insulation performance of the insulator.

Ceramic porcelain pin insulator is used between the discharge electrode framework and ESP casing functioning as connecting and high-voltage insulating. By its own structure it is divided into two types: pure ceramic insulator and combined insulator.
