Heat Treatment Guidelines
Annealing: 850-900°C, slow furnace cool to 600°C then air cool
Hardening: 1010-1065°C, quench in warm oil or air
Tempering: 150-370°C for optimal hardness and mechanical properties
Note: Avoid tempering at 425-565°C due to reduced impact and corrosion resistance.
