Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium alloy strengthened by gamma prime precipitation, delivering exceptional mechanical properties across extreme temperature ranges from cryogenic conditions to high-temperature environments up to 1300°F (705°C). This age-hardenable superalloy maintains excellent oxidation resistance and can be welded in fully aged conditions.
