Heat Soaked Safety Glass Overview
Heat Soaked Safety Glass, also known as tempered glass, undergoes a specialized thermal process where regular annealed glass is heated to approximately 650°C and rapidly cooled. This creates surface compression and internal tension, resulting in glass that is 5 times more resistant to wind load, impact, and thermal shock compared to standard annealed glass of equivalent thickness.
