Self-Operated Temperature Control Valve Overview
The ZZWP series self-operated temperature control valve utilizes liquid thermal expansion principles for automatic temperature regulation without external power sources. Available in cast steel and stainless steel construction for industrial applications.
Operating Principle
This valve operates using the principle of liquid thermal expansion and incompressibility. When the controlled medium temperature changes, the temperature sensing liquid inside the sensor expands or contracts proportionally:
Temperature Response Mechanism
• Above set temperature: Liquid expands, pushing valve closed to reduce heat medium flow
• Below set temperature: Liquid contracts, spring opens valve to increase heat medium flow
