Product Description
Screw feeder, also known as screw conveyor, scraper conveyor, and bucket conveyor, is a versatile conveying equipment. The basic structure primarily consists of a feeding hopper, feeding screw, and transmission mechanism.
Working Principle
The screw feeder detects material weight through the weighing bridge to determine the load on the conveyor belt. A digital speed sensor installed at the tail continuously measures the feeder's running speed. The speed sensor's pulse output is proportional to the feeder speed. Both speed and weight signals are sent to the feeding controller, where the microprocessor processes the data to generate and display cumulative amount and instantaneous flow rates. The flow rate is compared with the set flow rate, and the controller's output signal adjusts the frequency converter to modify the feeder's driving speed, maintaining the material flow rate close to the set feed rate for precise quantitative feeding.
