15kV-35kV ACSR Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) is a medium voltage overhead cable system designed for reliable power distribution in various environmental conditions. This hybrid cable combines the mechanical strength of ACSR conductors with the safety benefits of fully insulated ABC design.
Applications
- Single Phase: 120V aerial service for construction sites, outdoor/street lighting. Rated for 1000V or lower at 75°C maximum conductor temperature.
- Two Phase: Power supply from utility lines to consumer weatherhead. Rated for 1000V or less (phase-to-phase) at 75°C for polyethylene insulation or 90°C for cross-linked insulation.
- Three Phase: Connection from pole-mounted transformers to service entrance. Rated for 1000V or less phase-to-phase at 75°C for polyethylene or 90°C for XLPE insulated conductors.
Construction
All aluminum conductor with polyethylene or cross-linked polyethylene insulation. Features concentric strand AAC, ACSR, or 6201 alloy neutral messenger for enhanced mechanical performance.
