Product Description
GSM19 series SMT 4 splice tape with guide alignment is designed for all sizes (8mm/12mm/16mm/24mm/32mm/44mm/56mm/72mm/88mm) of carrier tape. It consists of 4 individual tapes, release paper, and removable PET with superior adhesion properties.
Applications
- Joining SMT Carrier Tapes: Enables continuous operation by splicing PET carrier tapes from 8mm to 88mm width without frequent feeder reloading
- Machine Compatibility: Suitable for various SMT machines including Universal, Juki, Sanyo, Hitachi, and others
- 4-splice tape design for enhanced performance
- Available in 32mm-88mm sizes upon request
Usage Instructions
Follow these steps for optimal performance:
- Cut carrier tapes using appropriate cutting tools (GSMTL20, GSMTL30, or GSMTL40)
- Remove release liner from splice tape to expose adhesive
- Align carrier tapes (cover tape facing down) on splice guide placement
- Fold splice tape to underside of carrier tape and press firmly
- Remove guide placement from carrier tapes
- Remove and discard clear plastic cover
- Press down firmly on splice tape to ensure secure bonding
