Custom Etched Micro-Hole Perforated Metal Netting for Filtration & Acoustic Applications
Custom Etched Micro-Hole Perforated Metal Netting for Filtration & Acoustic Applications
Product Overview
As a professional precision etching manufacturer, Shenzhen Xinhaisen Technology Limited, produce high-quality metal mesh using advanced chemical etching technology. We understand the critical requirements for fine apertures, tight tolerances, and burr-free surfaces. That’s why we focus on delivering metal mesh that performs reliably across communications, acoustics, optics, medical devices, automotive parts, home appliances, and even aerospace applications. Whether you need a small batch for prototyping or a massive order for mass production, we are equipped to meet your needs with speed and precision.
Etching Process
We use photochemical (chemical) etching to produce metal mesh:
-
Material Cleaning – Metal sheets are thoroughly cleaned.
-
Lamination – Photoresist film is applied to both sides.
-
Exposure – UV light transfers the mesh pattern onto the film.
-
Development – Unwanted photoresist is washed away.
-
Etching – Exposed metal areas are dissolved by etching solution.
-
Stripping – Remaining photoresist is removed.
-
Inspection & Packaging – 100% quality check before shipment.
This process creates burr-free, stress-free mesh with extremely fine features.

FAQ
- Q1: What is the smallest hole size you can etch?
A: We can etch apertures as small as 0.03mm. - Q2: Can you etch thick metal mesh?
A: Yes, our etching range is 0.02mm to 1.5mm thickness. - Q3: Is there any burr or deformation after etching?
A: No. Chemical etching produces burr-free, flat, and stress-free parts. - Q4: Do you have a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: No MOQ. We welcome prototype orders as well as mass production. - Q5: How fast can you deliver samples?
A: Typically 5–7 days after pattern confirmation. - Q6: What file formats do you accept for the mesh pattern?
A: We accept Gerber, DXF, DWG, PDF, and other common CAD formats. - Q7: Can you etch custom patterns?
A: Yes, any 2D mesh design can be realized without additional tooling costs.
