Thread interface M14 × 1.5 parallel with 19 mm hex and 18 mm probe reach for direct insertion into the thermostat housing or cylinder-head coolant gallery. Sensing span –40 °C to +140 °C via a precision NTC thermistor calibrated 2 500 Ω @ 20 °C, 300 Ω @ 80 °C, 120 Ω @ 110 °C, tolerance ±2 %. Electrical connection is a two-pin sealed Deutsch DT04-2P, IP67 rated, vibration resistant to 50 g, overall sensor length 52 mm, mass 46 g.

Material & performance features:

Probe body is machined from 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) stainless steel for total immunity to glycol, long-life OAT coolants and galvanic corrosion; a copper crush-washer and fluorosilicone O-ring guarantee leak-free sealing up to 3 bar system pressure. Electronics are fully potted in high-temperature epoxy, thermal-shock tested 1 000 cycles –40 °C ↔ +150 °C, salt-spray tested 96 h per ASTM B117, EMI-suppressed circuitry compliant with SAE J1113-42 for reliable ECU feedback, MTBF > 500 000 engine hours.
