WESPC Intake Valve Stem Seal 120406070 For Perkins 403D 404D Diesels Engine

Application:

120406070 is the intake-valve stem seal for Perkins 403D/404D three- and four-cylinder diesels (403D-11, 403D-15, 403D-17, 404D-15, 404D-22/T). It is therefore fitted to JCB 802-803, Cat C1.1-C1.5, Linde forklifts, FG Wilson P13-5 to P22-5 generator sets, Massey-Ferguson 1700E tractors and LiuGong 906/908 mini-excavators that share the same cylinder-head machining.

Technical specifications:

Viton-rubber lip seal with spring-loaded 8 mm ID, 14 mm OD, 7 mm height; operating −30 °C to 120 °C in 15W-40 oil mist, withstands 0.5 bar crank-case pulse and 24 h salt-spray without loss of elasticity. The lip is moulded to Ra 0.4 µm to micro-seal the 8 mm intake-valve stem and prevent oil draw-down into the combustion chamber.

Material & performance features:

Metal-clad Viton is asbestos-free and bonded to a steel carrier for 25 % tear strength vs. cork substitutes; compression set <15 % after 70 h at 120 °C, providing >8 000 h leak-free life in 24/7 generator duty before replacement is required.
