Product Features
The material offers exceptional strength, with 4A duplex steel exhibiting a tensile strength of ≥ 690 MPa and a yield strength of ≥ 450 MPa (the yield strength of 2507 can reach over 550 MPa), which is approximately twice that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel. This allows valves to be designed to be lighter for the same pressure rating, effectively conserving material and reducing equipment manufacturing costs. Additionally, it offers superior resistance to chloride ion corrosion. 4A duplex steel exhibits extremely high resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Its pitting resistance equivalent (PREN) value exceeds 40, far surpassing that of 304 and 316L stainless steels, and is even comparable to 6% Mo super austenitic stainless steel. It can operate stably over the long term in harsh corrosive environments such as seawater and chloride-containing liquids.
Product Advantages
●The sealing surface features a composite structure of 4A duplex steel and wear-resistant hard alloy, which not only withstands medium corrosion but also resists wear caused by fluid erosion, maintaining excellent sealing performance even after long-term use. The bolts used in the lugs are shorter and do not pass through the entire valve body, resulting in minimal creep and reducing the risk of leakage. The double-offset design reduces opening and closing torque by approximately 50% compared to center-symmetrical butterfly valves, making manual operation smooth and effortless. Smaller-sized pneumatic or electric actuators can also be selected as options, reducing drive system costs.
