Air horn

Electric horn

The working principle of the electric horn is to make the metal diaphragm vibrate and make sound by electromagnetic suction.It is a kind of horn which is widely used in automobile. It can be divided into three kinds according to the structure form: barrel, screw and basin.

The usual electric horn can be divided into mechanical horn and electronic horn according to its working mode.The electronic horn can be divided into touch type and non - contact type.The contact-type electric horn USES the closure and disconnection of contacts to control the on-off of the excitation current in the electromagnetic coil, so that the iron core (or armature) moves up and down at a certain frequency.The sound is produced by vibration of the working metal diaphragm.The contactless loudspeaker USES an electronic circuit to control the opening and breaking of the excitation current in the electromagnetic coil, so that the iron core moves at a certain frequency and the metal diaphragm vibrates to produce sound.

Electric loudspeaker has the advantages of convenient energy, simple structure, small volume, small quality, small noise, easy warranty, bright sound and pleasant sound quality.

The non-contact electric horn can be more durable because it overcomes the pitting corrosion and oxidation of the electric horn.And its tone and volume are easier to adjust than touch-based ones, so it's the way car horns go.
