1. Determine flooring direction preference (typically along room length)
2. Remove baseboards to allow close wall installation
3. Install underlayment over existing floor or subfloor to reduce moisture and noise
4. Begin installation from room corner with tongue facing wall, maintaining 12mm expansion gap
5. Connect boards using locking system with scrap piece and mallet technique
6. Continue installation with staggered seams for structural integrity
7. Cut pieces to fit wall ends and irregular corners using appropriate tools
