Fireproof stonewool insulation board is an economical, lightweight thermal insulation material manufactured from natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperatures. This mineral wool insulation board offers excellent thermal performance, fire resistance, and sound absorption properties, certified with CE and ISO standards.

Stonewool mineral products are manufactured from natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperatures to form a molten matrix. This material is passed through an air stream that cools and forms long fibrous strands, which are bonded together to create slabs. The material is chemically and biologically inert, neutral (PH 7) or slightly alkaline, meeting ASTM C 795 and JIS A 9504 standards. It does not support mold, fungi, or bacterial growth.
