Stonewool (mineral wool) fire insulation curtain wall panels are economical, lightweight thermal insulation materials manufactured from natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperatures. The molten matrix forms long fibrous strands that are bonded into slabs, providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties.

Designed as a barrier system for curtain walling spandrel panels, this fire-resistant material compartmentalizes buildings to contain fires to their floor of origin. In addition to fire protection, stonewool insulation offers superior thermal and acoustic performance.
