Ballistic PDC Polycrystalline Diamond Cutter
High-performance ballistic PDC (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact) cutters specifically engineered for Atlas Copco DTH (Down-The-Hole) button bits. These premium cutters deliver exceptional durability and drilling efficiency in demanding applications.
Product Overview
PDC cutters are superhard materials created by compacting polycrystalline diamond with tungsten carbide substrate under ultra-high temperature and pressure conditions.
Manufacturing Process
Manufactured using tungsten carbide substrate and synthetic diamond grit, PDC cutters undergo high-temperature, high-pressure sintering with cobalt alloy catalyst. The differential shrinkage rate (tungsten carbide shrinks 2.5 times faster than diamond) creates a permanent bond between materials.
