Steel tube type multimode fiber optic fused couplers are stable and with low insertion loss, made from corning fibers with core diameter of 50um or 62.5um. Multimode fused fiber optic couplers are wavelength independent over a broad range of wavelengths with uniform power splitting and distribution It is with equal ratio. They are mainly used in telecommunication equipment, CATV system, test equipment and passive fiber optic networks.
