Product Overview
Thermal bimetal alloy strip is a composite material consisting of two or more metal layers with different expansion coefficients, bonded together along the entire interface. This construction enables shape changes in response to temperature variations, making it ideal for thermal sensing and control applications.
Working Principle
The high expansion coefficient layer serves as the active component, while the low expansion coefficient layer acts as the passive component. When high resistivity is required with similar thermal sensitivity, an intermediate layer of varying thickness can be added as a shunt layer to control resistivity characteristics.
