Product Overview
Type K thermocouple wire is the most common thermocouple type providing the widest operating temperature range. Nickel-based construction offers excellent corrosion resistance for diverse industrial applications.
Construction & Operation
Thermocouple wire utilizes a pair of dissimilar metals electrically joined at the sensing point. When temperature differentials occur between junctions, thermal electromotive force (millivolts) is generated proportional to the temperature difference.
