Physical Properties
Dicyandiamide appears as white crystalline powder with density of 1.40 g/cm³. Soluble in water (2.26% at 13°C), liquid ammonia, hot water, ethanol, acetone hydrate, and dimethyl formamide. Hardly soluble in ether, insoluble in benzene and chloroform.
