Process Description
The horizontal continuous casting process begins with electrolytic copper loaded into the medium frequency melting furnace. After composition adjustment, molten copper transfers to the holding furnace, then flows into the mold for primary cooling and crystallization. The solidified strip passes through secondary cooling and is continuously drawn by the dummy machine. Advanced PLC controls manage the casting cycle with adjustable push/pull parameters and real-time monitoring of water temperature and pressure for optimal product quality and safety.
